How do I get started?

Any courses in which you are enrolled as an instructor can contain Maple T.A. content.
After logging into MyUni and navigating to your course go to:
CONTROL PANEL > MAPLE T.A. INSTRUCTOR MAIN MENU
You may see a registration dialog the first time you visit this location. Choose either of the selections from the drop down menu (one includes a batch of mathematically oriented demonstration questions and the other provides an empty template) and you are ready to begin developing content.

A straightforward start-to-finish example of creating an assignment in Maple T.A. is provided on this site: see Setting an Assignment.

The standard workflow in Maple T.A. is

(1) Develop questions in the Question Editor. First add a new question bank, then a topic within that question bank, and begin adding questions to that topic. To construct a question you choose from the available options at each stage (visible "Add" buttons provide optional features to the question) and press the "Next" button until a "Finish" button is visible. The question can then be given a test-run by pressing "Finish", entering a solution, and then pressing "Grade". Adjustments can be made via the "Edit" button.

(2) Make an assignment using the Assignment Editor. An assignment comprises questions from any number of question banks, and might (for example) include 2 out of the 5 available questions from a given question bank. Questions can appear in random order and have arbitrary marks assigned for each answer and so forth: it's definitely worth exploring the options (and the online help) at each stage of the Assignment construction procedure. Note that Assignment design consists of a sequence of panels, and you move through the panels by clicking on the tabs at the top of the page.
